Who We Serve
The Iowa Hospital Association proudly serves 123 hospitals and health systems across the state, providing members with advocacy support, education, and data for operational decision making.
IHA is led by its Board of Officers and Trustees, which consists of executives and leaders from member hospitals and health care facilities. Special councils help guide IHA’s core business areas:
- The Council on Education and Member Services addresses operational issues affecting hospitals, such as health care management, patient services, and professional practice.
- The Council on Health Information oversees information and data services and provides guidance on related projects.
- The Legislative Policy Council develops policy positions and supports grassroots advocacy efforts.
Associate Members
Associate memberships are available for businesses and organizations that support Iowa’s hospital system and provide products and services for IHA and its members.
Associate members gain valuable access and insight into hospital leaders and decision makers, which can give them an edge when growing their business. For information about becoming an associate member, contact us or call 515-228-1955.
Personal Membership Groups
Personal membership groups (PMGs) offer hospital professionals opportunities to learn and network with colleagues across Iowa. There is no charge for IHA Hospital and Health System member employees to join personal membership groups.
