The IHA Hospital and Health System Service Directory lists Iowa hospitals by the services they provide. The Directory provides information on the many services, both inpatient and outpatient, that are provided by the 116 community hospitals in Iowa. The source of data for the Directory is the 2007 AHA Annual Survey of Hospitals and is limited to the questions asked on the AHA Annual Survey.

Please note the following definitions prior to reviewing the services:

Health Care System: A corporate body that owns, leases, religiously sponsors, and/or manages health provider facilities.

Subsidiary: A company that is wholly controlled by another or one that is more than 50% owned by another organization.

Network: A group of hospitals, physicians, other providers, insurers and/or community agencies that voluntarily work together to coordinate and deliver health services.
