Salary and Benefits SurveyClick here to access the IHA Salary Survey Web Site.Click here to access the IHA Snapshot Salary Survey Web site.With more than 150 non-management, management, and executive job classifications divided into peer groups and custom peer groups, the IHA Salary and Benefits Survey is one of the most valuable and useful tools provided to IHA members. This annual survey helps Iowa hospitals hire and maintain appropriate levels of personnel and evaluate their benefit plans. Each participating hospital receives four survey books:
The Salary and Benefit Survey questionnaires are sent to Iowa hospitals July 1 and returned to IHA by August 1. The survey results are sent to participating hospitals in October. Data is submitted via the Internet and hospitals and health systems are able to access data via the Internet. Regional and national benchmark salary information is also available. "Snapshot" Salary Survey The IHA "Snapshot" Salary Survey is produced in addition to the Annual Salary and Benefits Survey and focuses on 15-20 key positions in Iowa hospitals that are identified because they match up with health personnel shortages. This survey covers only salaries and includes no custom peer groups. The Snapshot Salary Survey questionnaires are sent to Iowa hospitals in January and returned to IHA by the end of February. The survey results are sent to participating hospitals the first week of April.
